Is a big forward who knows how to make the most of his size: he plants himself in front of the net and can be nearly impossible to move. His excellent hand/eye coordination results in a lot of tip-ins, goals on rebounds and quick snap shots. He is a major asset on the power play. A sixth-round draft pick in 2009, he has grown into an effective leader partly due to his exemplary work ethic.
