Scouting Report
Injuries have slowed the Norris Trophy-winning defenseman down far more than any opponent has. When healthy, he can still make an impact; he is a magnificent skater who can carry the puck out of trouble to join the attack or hit a teammate with a breakout pass, generating offense and helping his team make the transition from defense to offense at an elite level. He is an excellent power-play quarterback who can play huge minutes in all situations. His body does break down, though.
Long Range Potential: Excellent veteran offensive defenseman (when healthy).
