Is still one of the NHL's best passers as he enters his mid-30s, though injuries have taken a toll. Has outstanding patience and hockey sense, and is among the best in NHL history at putting teammates in prime position to score. He also owns an underrated shot that he needs to use more often. Continues to be defensively responsible as well as a weapon in shootouts.
