He is perhaps the greatest goal scorer the NHL has ever seen, and few players have enjoyed scoring goals more than "The Great 8." Already the owner of the NHL career record for power-play goals, he is now chasing Wayne Gretzky's all-time mark of 894. His one-time shot from the left circle, his "office", is one of the most famous (and lethal) shots in hockey history. Has not lost any of his underrated speed and zest for the game, and still enjoys the physical aspect. Has never been a great defensive player and never will be, but he is paid handsomely to score goals rather than prevent them--and still excels at that in his late 30s. | |
