A strong power forward type, he put up good numbers in the QMJHL before turning pro. Is an excellent forechecking forward who does a good job of creating time and space for his teammates. Is good at hitting opponents legally and provides energy when on the ice. Can play both center and wing at lower levels, but his future lies on the wing at the highest level.
