Mysak was traded from Montreal to Anaheim in exchange for Jacob Perreault on Thursday.

Mysak (undisclosed) is in the Canadiens' lineup for a rookie game versus the Sabres on Thursday.

Mysak played through an injury during the Memorial Cup with OHL Hamilton, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic reports.

Mysak was named the captain of Team Czech Republic which will participate in the World Junior Hockey Championship on Wednesday, Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette reports. The tournament kicks off Sunday in Alberta.
