The Boston College recruit is a diminutive, shifty and extremely feisty forward who is fearless when driving the net. He also possesses a quality shot, so he has drawn comparisons to former Golden Eagles superstar Brian Gionta. The latter played right wing in the National Hockey League, which is the likely position for Ambrosio moving forward as well (he plays center but is far better at scoring goals than setting up his teammates). He will also need to prove that he can produce in the pro ranks without ideal size for the highest level, although he does own a strong lower base.
Long Range Potential: Diminutive, aggressive goal-scoring forward with some upside.
