Wants to be a starting goalkeeper but has yet to show the kind of consistency a true No. 1 'tender displays in the NHL. At his best, he is a confident, athletic goaltender who can steal games all on his own. Seems to play better with more activity and can look shaky if he has had a long break between appearances. He has to do a better job of controlling rebounds and tracking the puck through traffic. Must also make sure he does not go down too early.
Long Range Potential: Solid goaltender with consistency issues.
