He puts up points on a consistent basis like few other NHL defensemen thanks to his mobility, offensive instincts and an ability to quarterback the power play. His problems come in his own zone, where a lack of size and strength limit his usefulness. He is at his very best when he plays down in the lineup and gets plenty of power-play time.
Long Range Potential: Pretty good offensive defenseman.
