Scouting Report
The future Hall-of-Fame center was arguably the best player of the 2010s and still going strong in his mid-30s. Sees the ice well, anticipates plays as well as anyone in the league, and is a tremendous clutch performer and leader. He may have lost a half-step but has compensated by getting stronger (especially in his lower body) and smarter. Remains a superb passer and two-way player, and has developed into a consistent winner on face-offs. His backhander is a weapon and may be the best in the NHL since Maurice "Rocket" Richard.
Long Range Potential: Elite franchise center and future Hall-of-Fame member.
