Scouting Report
Though he is best known for having one of the hardest shots in NHL history, he was always a lot more than a guy with a booming slap shot. At 6’4”, 230 pounds, he could overpower opponents in one-on-one situations, was willing to drop the gloves in the NHL and was one of the league's best leaders. Injuries kept him off the ice for large chunks of his later seasons.
Long Range Potential: Excellent all-around defenseman with a big point shot and great leadership skills.
