The lanky defenseman skates well for his size, and has enough skill and skating ability to contribute offensively. He can carry the puck effectively, and he knows how to handle retrievals and get the puck out of his zone. He uses his size effectively to close off opposing attackers. Still raw in some areas, he especially needs more work with his play with the puck.
