The Russian defenseman excelled in the OHL before being taken No. 10 overall in the 2022 draft. He is an aggressive rusher whose skating helps him avoid defenders, and he has the skills, shot and smarts to put up good offensive numbers. His long reach and physicality help him break up plays, although he has to avoid being too aggressive on offense so as to not compromise his defensive game.
