The big defenseman was a surprise first-round pick in the 2021 draft, despite an off-ice incident that damaged his stock. He is very big, plays with an edge and can be hard to play against. Offensively, he can make a good first pass and produce at lower levels, though there are questions about whether his skating is good enough to put up numbers regularly in the NHL.
