A classic playmaking center in the Henrik Sedin/Nicklas Backstrom mold, he has tremendous vision and passing skills. Sees the ice very well and is not afraid of going into high-traffic areas in order to make plays. Is not a natural finisher but he can also score goals. Lacks ideal size for the NHL so he will need to bulk up and get physically stronger to better handle the North American game. Has the type of quickness and change-of-direction shiftiness that can drive defenders crazy. Has hockey smarts, so he knows how to take advantage of goaltenders with his shot when they think he is going to pass the puck.
