Participated in the Spengler Cup at the tender age of 17 for TPS of the Liiga. Has outstanding skating qualities, which is clearly his best asset. Does a lot of things well on the ice, so he is the type of defenseman that can eat up large chunks of ice time. Owns a fairly projectable frame. Lacks dominant shutdown qualities and is also not a natural power-play quarterback, so he must find his niche in order to maximize ice time at the highest level. Needs to bulk up and get physically stronger.
Long Range Potential: Solid, good-skating defenseman with upside.
