A playmaker who can line up either at center or wing, he is capable of seeing plays develop before they occur. That is largely due to superior vision and hockey sense. While he lacks size, he is quite adept at hounding the puck and gaining possession in the corners thanks to a strong lower base. In order to become a quality National Hockey League center, he will need to become even more dedicated to the defensive side of the ice. Otherwise, he still has loads of value as a playmaking winger (though he could stand to shoot the puck more often). He should become even stronger with time and experience. | |
Long Range Potential: | Quality, versatile playmaking forward with upside. |
