The Austrian defender with an excellent, projectable frame decided to play for the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs in his draft year (after spending all of his prior formative seasons in his native country). As a CHL rookie, he placed second on the Volts in both goals and points among team defensemen. Plays an all-around style but his offensive game (especially his point shot) are more advanced than his ability to defend in his own end. Therefore, his NHL prospects will likely be determined by his progress in terms of adding more muscle and physicality to his overall game and his ability to shut down key forwards. | |
