Has excellent playmaking skills from the center position. His hands are very smooth and he has the type of puck skills that belong in the NHL. Also displays a willingness to play tenacious defense, although his two-way game lacks consistency. Needs to prove himself against tougher competition. Owns a reasonably projectable frame but will need to get stronger in order to thrive on North American ice surfaces.
