Was extremely gifted and had the ability to hold onto the puck for long stretches. Boasted great passing skills and tremendous one-on-one moves. Was a reliable point producer in the NHL. Did not have a lot of strength to combat big NHL defenders in the corners, but that was never his game. Did not shoot the puck enough, which led to only average goal-scoring totals.
