Is very workmanlike in his approach to the game of hockey. Is a solid passer with pretty good vision and some two-way skills. His strong lower base helps him win puck battles, too. Is not an elite offensive talent, and he is not a natural sniper either (though he should shoot the puck more for better results). Lacks optimum height and bulk for the NHL.
