This is a swap of skilled AHLers. Phillips is more of a playmaking center, and he might be needed in Providence (AHL) if Spooner is needed to remain in Beantown for the rest of 2014-15.

Knight is more of a scoring winger who could have a better opportunity now that he's in the Minnesota organization. Phillips was a bust, so perhaps Knight will have better luck with the Wild.

Both of these young AHLers have some dark horse appeal, so both Phillips and Knight need to be on the fantasy radar. Take a wait-and-see approach with both, though.
