Is a good skater with soft hands and solid offensive instincts. Can play either wing position and be regularly moved up and down the lineup. His lack of size (5'10") and strength has been a detriment in his efforts to earn steadier ice time. Concussions and other injuries have also been a factor. Is somewhat of a role player and a "glue guy".
