Schneider signed Wednesday with AHL Nashville on a one-year contract.

The Predators acquired Schneider from the Rangers on Monday in exchange for Connor Brickley.

The Rangers reassigned Schneider to AHL Hartford on Tuesday.

Schneider was called up from AHL Hartford on Saturday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Schneider was designated for waivers by the Ranger on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Schneider, who the Rangers signed to a two-year, two-way, $1.3 million deal July 1, notched 24 goals and 39 assists with the Sabres' AHL affiliate Rochester last season.

Schneider was sent down to AHL Rochester on Saturday.

Schneider was called up to Buffalo on Saturday.
