30-year-old forward Matt Anderson made his NHL debut on Tuesday night for the New Jersey Devils.
He played on the fourth line with Krys Barch and Jacob Josefson in the contest, where he ended up with nearly seven minutes ice time. Anderson was never drafted and is currently playing his sixth full season in the minors.
The Devils called up Matt Anderson from AHL Albany on Tuesday.
Anderson will replace Mattias Tedenby, who was sent down Monday. Anderson, 30, will make his NHL debut Tuesday night against the Boston Bruins. He'll skate on the fourth line and doesn't have any fantasy value.
