Scouting Report
Had great size (6'4", 225 pounds), plenty of physicality to his game and shutdown ability. Excelled on the penalty kill and was at his best when he kept the game simple. Did not have high-end puck skills (or major offensive acumen). Also, he at times struggled when defending against really speedy forwards at the NHL level. Concussion issues hurt his progression and eventually forced him to retire prematurely.
Long Range Potential: Physical defenseman (when healthy).
