Kuznetsov signed a four-year deal with SKA St. Petersburg (KHL) on Wednesday, Sergey Demidov of NHL.com reports.

Kuznetsov was put on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract, the Hurricanes announced Wednesday.

Kuznetsov potted the game-winning goal in Monday's 4-1 win over New York in Game 5.

Although an initial report suggested Kuznetsov was out for Tuesday's Game 2 versus the Rangers because of an undisclosed injury, he is actually a healthy scratch, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com

Kuznetsov (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday in Game 2 versus the Rangers, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Kuznetsov collected a goal and an assist Tuesday in a 6-3 win over the Islanders in Game 5.

Kuznetsov snapped a four-game pointless streak with an assist in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Red Wings.

Kuznetsov recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Senators.

Kuznetsov scored his seventh goal of the season in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Panthers.

Kuznetsov (personal) will make his Hurricanes debut Saturday against New Jersey, per Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal.
