Massive, he filled up most of the net when he was in his butterfly. Changed shooters' tendencies with his raw size and let the puck hit him. Athletic and pretty mobile, he also showed good reflexes and recovery skills. Sometimes, he dropped to the ice too quickly or over-committed, and was stuck scrambling to make the save or get back into position. Could yield the occasional soft goal. Injuries were an issue for him, and a serious concussion problem ended his NHL career prematurely.
Long Range Potential: Talented, inconsistent goaltender (when healthy).
