Bruins re-sign Jordan Caron

News
Jordan Caron has agreed to a one-year, $600,000 contract with the Boston Bruins.
Forecaster Impact
The Bruins investigated the possibility of trading Caron, not because he requested a move, but because they were trying to be fair to him and felt he might have a better opportunity to play regularly elsewhere. Nothing materialized from that, but he still might end up being dealt before the summer's over. Caron had three points and 36 penalty minutes in 35 games last season.

Bruins looking to trade Jordan Caron

News
Boston has not given Jordan Caron a qualifying yet because they are trying to trade him.
Forecaster Impact
"We've got one prepared, but we're not sure yet," said GM Peter Chiarelli. "He's still young, he's been in and out of our lineup, and in fairness to him we've looked for another [NHL] spot for him. It wasn't out of the request of Jordan. He wants to stay in Boston, but at his age [24 in November], he also wants a chance to play on the regular basis." He suited up in 35 games with the Bruins in 2013-14 and he collected just three points.
