Louis Leblanc has inked a one-year, two-way contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
The Ducks acquired Leblanc from Montreal for a conditional fifth round pick, which will be activated if he played in at least 15 games with Anaheim next season. He had 28 points and 63 penalty minutes in 70 AHL contests in 2013-14.

He skated in 50 games with the Canadiens over the past three seasons, where he notched five goals and five assists. Leblanc was the 18th overall pick in the 2008 draft, but he hasn't been able to establish himself as a professional player yet. It's likely that he'll mostly play in the minors with Anaheim as well.
Louis Leblanc missed Monday's practice because of the flu.
He has skated in three games with Montreal during his latest stint with the big club. In eight appearances overall, he doesn't have a point yet but he does have seven blocks and seven shots. Depending on how feels, he may not be ready to play Tuesday versus Carolina.

He practiced Tuesday on a line with Michael Bournival and Travis Moen. In 47 NHL appearances over his career, Leblanc has five goals and five assists.
