Morin agreed to terms on a one-year contract with KHL club Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk on Thursday.

Morin signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Lightning on Friday.

Morin was dealt to the Sharks on Saturday along with goalie James Reimer. In exchange, the Maple Leafs will receive forward Ben Smith, goalie Alex Stalock and a conditional fourth-round draft choice in 2018.

Morin was reassigned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL on Sunday, James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail reports.

Morin was called up from the minors on an emergency basis Saturday.

Morin was traded Monday to the Maple Leafs in exchange for Richard Panik, Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Morin was traded from the Blue Jackets to the Blackhawks along with three players for Brandon Saad, WGN Radio in Chicago reports.

Jeremy Morin is expected to stay on Chicago's roster next season. "Jeremy has been patient with us," GM Stan Bowman said. "I know sometimes it's tough to spend a couple of years in the minors when you're an NHL-ready player. Give him credit, he really has done everything we've asked him to. The only thing that missing was an opportunity. Now, we're giving him that opportunity. He's going to be on the team." He skated in 24 games with the Blackhawks last season. Chicago won't be bringing back Michal Handzus and Brandon Bollig was traded, so there are openings for Morin.

Jeremy Morin has signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. Morin is the third restricted free agent the Blackhawks have locked up on Friday, along with Ben Smith and Antti Raanta. Morin had 11 points and 32 penalty minutes in 24 games in 2013-14. Morin has a decent amount of offensive upside, but he's not likely to get an opportunity to consistently play on one of Chicago's top two lines.

The Chicago Blackhawks made some minor lineup shuffles, opening the door for Jeremy Morin's playoff debut against the Minnesota Wild in Game 2. The second-rounder (45th overall by Atlanta in 2009) scored 11 points and collected 32 PIM in 24 games during the regular season, so there's at least a chance that he could make a fantasy impact (though it's unlikely to be major).
