The creative forward was a playmaker and strong positional player with a knack for being in the right spot. He was never the biggest player on the ice, but his lack of size was countered by tremendous hockey IQ. As his scoring numbers diminished late in his NHL career, he became more of a role player. In the end, he was always a good team player.
