Was capable of playing either wing position (as well as center, if needed). Lacked consistency in a major way at the highest level, which hurt his production. Did not always play with enough urgency. Was not overly physical, despite his solid frame. Injuries (and a deterioration of his skills) forced him to retire from the NHL prematurely. | |
