Formerly an elite defenseman, his game is reviving after falling off for several seasons in the late 2010s. He still loves to join the rush and get involved in the offense, and his poise and composure are still present. He remains a huge minute muncher but is also prone to a few mistakes defensively; he is best at driving play when paired with a stay-at-home partner.
