Had great height for the netminding position and tremendous agility for a big goalkeeper. Displayed an infectious personality that worked well with his teammates. Was never able to prove he could be a 60-game goaltender at the highest level, against the best shooters in the world, over an extended period of time. Also lacked ideal bulk for his frame. He finished his career abruptly in order to get into coaching.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent but talented goaltender.
