Frattin agreed to terms on a one-year contract with KHL Kunlun, Russia's Sport Express reports.
Frattin was loaned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday, though he remains a member of the Senators' organization.
Frattin was traded along with Dion Phaneuf and three others to the Senators on Tuesday for Milan Michalek, Colin Greening, Tobias Lindberg and a draft pick.

"You definitely see the good players you are traded for and want to show people that you have your own value." Frattin feels he learned some good defensive tricks from Kings coach Darryl Sutter. He's also working on his speed and strength over the summer.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have until 5 pm on Monday to decide whether or not to offer restricted free agent Matt Frattin a contract or allow him to become an unrestricted free agent.
Frattin bounced around this past season as the Maple Leafs traded him to the Kings for Jonathan Bernier during the 2013 off-season while the Kings sent him to Columbus at the trade deadline as part of the Marian Gaborik trade. He was a huge disappointment with only two goals and five assists in 44 games in 2013-14. Do not be surprised if he is allowed to hit free agency tomorrow.

The Blue Jackets acquired Frattin from the Los Angeles Kings as part of the Marian Gaborik deal and that's been bad news for the 26-year-old forward so far. He has appeared in just two games with Columbus and has averaged only 11:32 minutes when he does play.
