| Had a very imposing frame, excellent two-way instincts and some decent offensive acumen. Displayed some playmaking ability as well as shutdown qualities. Was woefully inconsistent at the NHL level. As a result, he was a bit of a maddening player to coach (since he did not always make the most of his obvious gifts). Was not a natural scorer, either. | |
