| Had a motor that did not quit, defensive acumen, face-off skills and plenty of agitating qualities. Produced good numbers at lower levels. Was a true pest to play against. Hit anything that moved. Did not own a lot of natural goal-scoring ability, and was also somewhat undersized for his rough-and-tumble style. That led to injuries, especially a concussion that effectively ended his career. | |
