Had a huge frame at 6'4", 210 pounds, plus the physical strength and aggression teams love from the back end. Was fairly sound in his own end. Excelled when he kept his game simple. Lacked a consistent mean streak so he never fully maximized his NHL game as a physical defender. Did not have the ability to put up big point totals in the big league.
Long Range Potential: Inconsistent physical defenseman.
