Scouting Report
Had an excellent frame and a long reach. Moved the puck quickly and efficiently out of danger. Could play a shutdown role, if required, and could also log big minutes. Was a quality penalty killer. Lacked physicality and was not as strong as most 6'2" defensemen. Also, he did not produce great point totals at the highest level and lacked puck skills. Injuries were often a factor for him, and a knee injury was partially the reason for his retirement at the age of 34.
Long Range Potential: Solid, steady defenseman.
