Slovenia's gift to the NHL is well into his 30s but would still be a force on the ice even if he were no longer an effective offensive player (though he remains one). He can occasionally go cold on offense, but his defensive game remains almost flawless and makes him valuable. He is also a consummate professional and a true team leader; he is a foundational player who can set the right example for young players.
Long Range Potential: Still an elite two-way center and leader.
