| Was extremely big for a goaltender and covered a lot of net, thanks to uncanny flexibility and lightning-fast reflexes. Never quit on a play and could be spectacular in goal when he had to be. Wore down a little bit if overworked, and occasionally surrendered bad goals; he lacked a little consistency. Unfortunately, he played some of his worst hockey when his time reached the Stanley Cup final, which tarnished his legacy just a tad. | |
