Was incredibly durable in his mid-30s, especially considering that he spent most of his career as an offensive defenseman playing 20-plus minutes per game. He skated very well, moved the puck efficiently and could quarterback a power play. Was never a physical player and struggled to tighten up his play in the defensive zone. Made bad passes and/or decisions on occasion. Finished his NHL playing days with the league's longest consecutive games played streak. | |
