Scouting Report
Was a tremendous skater and a natural point producer from the back end. Could place constant pressure on opposing defenses. Packed an excellent wrist shot. Liked to initiate body contact. Could quarterback a power play with aplomb. Was somewhat mistake-prone in the defensive zone, which negated some of his overall effectiveness. Lacked some consistency and discipline to his game. Injuries were a huge problem for him, and ultimately it shortened his NHL career.
Long Range Potential: Quality, mobile offensive defenseman (when healthy).
