| Had the poise and skills needed to play in today's NHL (even well into his late-30s). An excellent skater, the mobile defender could move the puck with aplomb. Though he was not much of an offensive threat, nor a staple on the power play, he was extremely useful on the penalty kill, as well as an excellent mentor for young defensemen later on in his NHL career. He was a true warrior who blocked shots very well and played through pain. | |
