Owns the hands, big-time shot and awareness of a natural goal-scorer. Has great size and reach to fend off blueliners, and decent speed for a big man. Can play a complete game when he is on top of things. Is a streaky point producer and is somewhat inconsistent at the face-off dot. Used to play at an elite level far more often. Gets into trouble at the National Hockey League level when he stops moving his feet.
