Corey Potter injured in practice Friday
Boston Herald
News
Corey Potter left Friday's practice with an alleged arm injury.
Forecaster Impact
He needed assistance to the dressing room due to a right shoulder problem after a tussle with Daniel Paille along the boards. Potter is the Bruins' eighth defenseman but he played in Game 1 of the series against the Red Wings as a number of the Boston blueliners were either sick or injured. Potter likely would not have dressed for Game 6 Saturday night even if he were healthy so his loss has no fantasy ramifications.

Corey Potter made his playoff debut Friday
Boston Herald
News
Corey Potter made his NHL playoff debut on Friday night.
Forecaster Impact
He logged nearly 17 minutes of ice time in the match, which included 1:37 of playing time on the penalty kill. Potter recorded four blocked shots and one shot of his own in Boston's 1-0 loss to Detroit. The 30-year-old rearguard has 123 regular season games of NHL experience under his belt and he was "thankful" that a chance to play in the playoffs finally came.
