Potter agreed to a one-year contract with Kolner Haie of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
Potter was called up from AHL Milwaukee on Saturday.
Potter was traded to the Predators on Monday in exchange for future considerations.

Potter is the Bruins' eighth defenseman but he played in Game 1 of the series against the Red Wings as a number of the Boston blueliners were either sick or injured. Potter likely would not have dressed for Game 6 Saturday night even if he were healthy so his loss has no fantasy ramifications.

Potter recorded four blocked shots and one shot of his own in Boston's 1-0 loss to Detroit. The 30-year-old rearguard has 123 regular season games of NHL experience under his belt and he was "thankful" that a chance to play in the playoffs finally came.
