Liked to stir the pot every shift and could get opponents off their game. Skated well. Was sound defensively and owned the versatility to play either center or wing at the National Hockey League level. Had a tendency to back down from physical challenges, and sometimes his on-ice antics backfired. Did not score enough to play a top-six forward role at the highest level. Instead, he was always a role player in the NHL.
Long Range Potential: Solid, agitating forward.
