Scouting Report
Knew how to put the puck in the net, thanks to a great release and an accurate shot that produced more than 400 NHL goals. Had great size and pretty good wheels. Was versatile enough to play center or wing and was excellent in the face-off circle. Was effective in any role or game situation, even as an older player late in his NHL career. No longer the big scorer he was earlier in his career, he transitioned seamlessly into a fourth-line role toward the end of his playing days.
Long Range Potential: Big, versatile all-around forward.
