Owned outstanding mobility and durability. Had tremendous athleticism and solid all-around ability. Was a dedicated worker and solid team player. Could log huge minutes for his team. Since he was a little undersized, he could struggle when facing big forwards in front of his own net. Could at times make bad decisions with the puck in the defensive zone. A left-handed shooter, he was always a better defenseman when he lined up on the right side (a rarity in the NHL).
Long Range Potential: Mobile, big-minute defenseman.
